Pyrite
Pyrite is used in the production of sulfur, sulfuric acid, and iron sulfate, as well as in the manufacture of fertilizers, water purification, and paints.
In abrasive tools, pyrite is employed to:
- enhance the heat resistance of grinding discs;
- extend the tool’s service life;
- improve cutting performance.
